Team Accomplishments Notable Team Achievements Football • First winning season (6-5) since 2007. • No. 1 punt return average in the NCAA Division I-FCS, averaging 24.5 yards per return, the highest mark in the FCS record books (since 1992). • Led nation with five punt return touchdowns. Men’s Basketball • Finished regular season second in MEAC with 15-1 conference record. • Recorded the most wins in a season (22-9) since the 1992-93 campaign. • Posted the program’s first 20-win campaign at the NCAA Division I level. Women’s Tennis • Concluded season with a school record of wins at 14-8 overall and 5-1 in conference play. • Undefeated at home for the first time in school history with a 6-0 record. • Advanced to semifinals of MEAC Championship. • Earned program’s first match victories over Campbell, Western Carolina, UNC Asheville, Longwood, and Radford.
