Tour Terms and Conditions By signing the attached Reservation Form, the following terms and conditions apply between you and Ed Hill Tours, Inc. TOUR PRICE: Price is based on double occupancy. Single accommodations are additional. Prices are based on tariffs, exchange rates, and other legal regulations in effect at the time the brochure is printed. In the event of increase, Ed Hill Tours reserves the right to adjust the price accordingly. Passengers joining the tour within 30 days of departure are subject to additional fees. The cost of the arrangements as outlined in this brochure is based on 30–36 tour participants. A supplemental charge per person will be added if the group size falls below 30. Also included in the tour price is the airline fuel surcharge. This amount is only known at the time that the airline seats are assigned (February, 2016). If the amount increases (usually only a small amount, if at all) the amount of the increase will be passed on to you. TAXES AND FEES: Not included in tour price: passport fees and visas, domestic transportation from/to your hometown to the group departure cities. Also not included are personal items such as laundry, room service, phone calls, mini bar, beverages other than served with meals, tips for personal favors, excess baggage and forwarding of baggage and transfers other than with the group. GRATUITY CHARGE: Pre-collected gratuities (included in the tour price) cover the following: guide, driver, hotel & dining room staff and porterage of one piece of luggage. No solicitation is made by the tour company for additional tips during your tour and any additional tipping to guides, drivers or service personnel is strictly voluntary. LUGGAGE: One suitcase will be handled for you upon arrival overseas after clearing customs, and transferred between airports/piers and hotels, etc. You must have proper group identification on all checked pieces of luggage while on tour. Travel and cancellation insurance should be purchased to protect passenger against loss. INSURANCE: It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel and cancellation insurance. A policy can be provided for you to purchase. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: Any tour member requiring special assistance must be accompanied by a traveling companion who will assume all responsibility for said tour member. Ed Hill Tours reserves the right to refuse passage to any tour member deemed unfit to travel. LATE BOOKING FEES: Registrations received within 30 days of departure are subject to a minimum $50.00 fee. Expedited mail and delivery charges will be also passed along to the late tour member as well as increases in airfare, should group rates no longer be available. FLIGHT TIMES: Subject to change without advance notice. Ed Hill Tours is not responsible for airline flight cancellations, schedule changes and delays and can not reimburse passengers for expenses resulting from same. Ed Hill Tours recommends the purchase of travel insurance to cover any losses that may be incurred. If the airline changes flight schedules, Ed Hill Tours reserves the right to lengthen or shorten the itinerary accordingly. A corresponding cost increase may occur. RESPONSIBILITY: Edward B. Hill Tours, Inc agrees to arrange for the tour outlined in this brochure, which represents the entire agreement between the passenger, agent, tour host, and Ed Hill Tours. No changes or deviations are effective unless signed by an authorized officer of Ed Hill Tours. No other person is authorized to adjust, modify, cancel or change this program or to make any representation or warranty concerning this tour. Except for the willing negligence of an employee of Ed Hill Tours, Ed Hill Tours assumes no liability or responsibility for any injuries, damages or losses, accidents, delays, changes in scheduling, irregularity or incidental damages resulting from circumstances beyond the control of Ed Hill Tours or by any person or reason including but not limited to default or omission of any private or commercial carrier or third party providing services or facilities connected with this tour or omission on the part of the tour host. The airlines or cruise lines are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board the plane, ship or conveyance. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or cruise lines or other lines involved, when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines, cruise lines and the passenger or purchaser or this tour and/or passage, and Ed Hill Tours assumes no liability or responsibility in connection therewith. Ed Hill Tours acts as an independent contractor and does not own or operate any third party firm such as airlines, cruise lines, bus companies, or land operators that compose tour programs.
Important Information • You will need a current valid passport to travel outside the USA. If your passport expires before October 7 2016, please apply for a new one immediately. • We will need a photocopy of your passport photo page submitted with your reservation form. If you do not have your passport, please go ahead and send us your reservation form and then mail the photocopy immediately when you receive your passport. • Non-US citizens may need an entry VISA. • It is the responsibility of the passenger to obtain the necessary travel documents required to travel. • This form is required with your deposit, even if it is incomplete at the time it is submitted. • No medical shots are necessary for travel to Israel. • Enrollment in the tour constitutes your financial commitment and acceptance of the tour conditions/responsibilities as found in this brochure. This information is also available online at www.israel16.com. • The tour host and/or the tour company is not responsible for any mishaps with suppliers or schedule changes that may incur additional passenger expenses.
Payments • $500 deposit per person with reservation form • A 2nd payment of $1500 is due by September 1, 2015 • Final payment is due by February 1, 2016
Cancellations A minimum cancellation fee of $250 will be applied to anyone who cancels for any reason. Cancellations received prior to departure will be subject to a minimum cancellation fee as follows: 90–60 days before departure — $600 60–45 days before departure — $1050 45–30 days before departure — minimum $1500 Within 30 days of departure — no refund Cancellation fees apply regardless of the reason, including medical and family matters. No reduction is given for any services not used by the passenger while on tour. Travel and cancellation insurance should be purchased to protect you against loss.
Reservation Changes Passengers diverting from the scheduled tour itinerary will be charged a non-refundable deviation charge per change. No changes will be accepted within 30 days of departure.
Travel Insurance Travel and cancellation insurance is not included in the tour package. We strongly suggest all passengers protect their travel investment by purchasing trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage for unforeseen and unexpected circumstances. If you do not already have a preferred travel insurance company, Ed Hill Tours recommends Travelex.
