Species Accounts Summary: Townsend's Dwarf Gecko is known from Cabezas de San Juan in northeastern Puerto Rico, south-central coast west to Playa de Ponce, Caja de Muertos Island, Piñeros Island, Platillo or Morillito Island, and Vieques Island and various of its satellites2,3. This species is described as xerophilic to semi-mesophilic2. It inhabits leaf litter, decomposing logs, and palm trash1.
