Trail Life Sunday June 29 was chosen as “Trail Life Sunday” to acknowledge the gathering of 50 men and women in Louisville, Kentucky, on the weekend of June 29, 2013, when the core principles of Trail Life USA were determined in a gathering under the name “Youth Adventure Program.”

Singing & Ice Cream Social Tonight at 6 p.m. we’ll learn a few new songs and at 6:30, we’ll share our homemade (or store-bought) ice cream and other desserts. Please plan to come for fun and fellowship and bring ice cream, toppings or a dessert to share.
60 Days of Prayer At the congregational meeting on June 1st, the elders asked that we all begin 60 Days of Prayer to consider how to proceed with our work at this place. We want to be in earnest prayer for God’s guidance of our steps on this matter.

Saturday morning, July 12th at 11, we will be having a baby shower to honor Jeanene. She and Jarred are expecting their first baby, and her name will be Janiya Grace. They are registered at Babies ‘R’ Us and Baby Depot @ Burlington Coat Factory. Please bring a brunch dish to share and join us.
Mt. Dora’s Blue Ridge Encampment
The 64th Reunion of the Blue Ridge Encampment at Black Mountain, NC will take place July 28th-August 1, 2014. This will be the final annual encampment. See the bulletin board for details or go to blueridgeassembly.org to register.
SonQuest 2014 – Xtreme Life This is going to be the most powerful SonQuest ever! David Skidmore will bring God’s word in a powerful way and we will once again be uplifted during our dynamic singing and worship time. Josh Ross will be sharing his best ideas on living an Xtreme Christian life. This annual youth event will be at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, August 29th-31st. The basic cost is $100, plus money for food and souvenirs. The deposit is $30 - due on 7/30, as is your T-shirt size. The balance is due by 8/27. If you need financial assistance, please see Neal Pharr. The hotel needs all names by 8/1. For more info, see Neal Pharr or David Love.
