Dear Colleagues and Friends, On behalf of the Training Officers Consortium (TOC) Executive Board, I am delighted to welcome you to the 2017 TOC Annual Institute. This year’s theme is “Talent Development – How Sweet It Is”. The Institute delivers a range of dynamic speakers and sessions that will support the success of your learning and development programs. We continue the tradition of building a robust Institute that includes:
Dynamic keynote speakers A host of concurrent sessions with prominent speakers covering a wide range of tracks such as: o Learning Measurement & Analytics o Leadership Development o Career and Talent Development o Learning Technologies o Training Design o Training Development o Management, Diversity and Inclusion o Exhibitors Showcase and a host of activities
Over the next three days, I encourage you to connect with your peers and discuss ideas for leading and navigating change within your organization. Use this time to develop new partnerships and a network of other learning and development professionals. You will learn from a line-up of presenters that cover every potential aspect of your learning program, and can visit the best in-class product and service providers found on our expo floor. TOC is the best investment in the learning industry. Lastly, I offer my appreciation and sincere thanks to the remarkable 2017 Institute Chair, Malcolm Miles, and the Vice Chair, Lin Burton, as well as all committee chairs, committee members and volunteers who have planned a thoughtful and splendid program. I trust that you will be a responsive audience and that their hard work and the interesting and informative contributions from the Institute will leave a longlasting impression.
