Creative

We have been learning to recognise number bonds to 10 this week. The children have used spots on a lady bird and duplo bricks to help them. Next week we will be recapping on all of our learning from throughout the term. We will particularly focusing on our shape, space and measure skills.

We have worked on the computers this week

Numeracy

We have also used ICT this week to create our own animation. The children have made a stop motion animation based on the song ‘A tiny caterpillar’. The children created everything used in the animation themselves and were able to use the child friendly software to take lots of photographs and then blend them to create the effect of movement in the film. We then recorded the soundtrack to accompany our animation. The song and animation demonstrate the life cycle of the butterfly.
