Instructional Camps
PURPOSE: Provide area high school baseball players the opportunity to stay sharp in the offseason; intended for those who plan to play on their high school’s team. WHEN AND WHERE: Games are scheduled to start in the last weekend of August and will be played at Young Memorial Field on UAB’s Campus. TEAMS/COACHING: Players are divided up into 16 teams with 12 players on each team. Each team will play six games and will be coached by Division I UAB baseball players. UAB coaching staff and players will assist in instructing and umpiring.

DIVISIONS: Gold division is primarily for seniors/juniors. Green division is primarily for sophomores/freshmen. Players are selected on first come, first serve basis.

Mon. Register Camp Aug. 22 5:15 p.m. 6-7:30 p.m.
Infield/ Outfield
Tue. Register Camp Aug. 23 5:15 p.m. 6-7:30 p.m.
Hitting
Wed. Register Camp Aug. 24 5:15 p.m. 6-7:30 p.m.
REGISTRATION: A registration fee of $225 provides for mini-camps, game t-shirts, helmet usage, baseballs, umpires, instruction, use of facilities and secondary insurance coverage. SIGN UP! Registration is open online at UABSports.com/Camps. EXTRAS: An All-Star game will be held at the end of the season for the Gold Division only. UAB coaches and players will provide detailed instruction in three mini camps. Players are welcome to attend all three. A hitting and pitching coach will be on hand at each game.
*All camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
