The new Student Services Center building will be sited in the center of the Segundo district. The existing dining commons will be replaced by a sloped open lawn, serving as the central quad for the Segundo district. The site is currently framed by existing pine trees and historic Lawrence Halprin mounds, and a north-south promenade will connect the dinning commons to the new infill housing. A shade tree plaza with seating creates an entry court south of the Segundo Services Center and convenience store.
