SENIOR PROJECT: 2013-2015 AND 2015-2017 catalogs
WVIT 361/461 (2) & WVIT 462 (2) will consist of two options: o WVIT 464: Senior Project (4 units, one quarter lecture course) Logistics: Most viticulture and enology students will take this requirement to fulfill senior project Description: Designed for critical review of literature and analysis of different studies. o WVIT 465: Senior Project (2 units repeatable up to 4 units total) Logistics: Students will enroll in two, 2 unit sections in 1 quarter. This allows for multi-quarter flexibility by the project and faculty, if needed. Taught as an independent study. Students will not be designing their own experiment and a permission number from the faculty member will be required. Description: Designed to incorporate senior project students into existing, grant funded, active research projects of our faculty. The student will assist in data collection and analysis of a small portion of our research projects.
Students that completed or have enrolled in WVIT 361/461: o You are STRONGLY encouraged to complete WVIT 462 during spring 2017 o Those unable to complete WVIT 462 in spring or are taking WVIT 361 in spring can enroll in WVIT 465 under appropriate faculty and follow the original WVIT 462 structure.
