UPPER SCHOOL DRESS CODE 2016-2017 The uniform dress code in the Upper School is just one example of the high standards we expect from our students. We see adherence to the dress code as an outward expression of respect. Students must be in uniform from arrival at school until the end of the school day. General appearance: All clothing should fit properly and be in good repair and be worn appropriately. No visible piercings (other than the ear) and no

visible body art or tattoos. Hairstyles and hair color must be neat and must not be extreme. No facial hair, except for religious or medical reasons. Sideburns must not extend below the earlobe. No hats are to be worm inside buildings. ITEM

All students must wear “dirty bucks” style shoes (light brown, ankle height, pink-soled, suede lace-tops). While there are no exceptions to wearing dirty bucks, students with ankle or leg fractures or sprains may petition the dean of students.
