Friday, January 26th (Middle School State) & Saturday, January 27th (Junior High State) Bingham High School 2160 West 10400 South South Jordan, Utah 84095 Registration Trackwrestling.com – deadline Jan. 24 @ noon - Fee: $18 *There will be a K/1st & 2nd/3rd grade festival on Saturday night Weigh-ins January 25th, 4pm-7pm @ USA Wrestling Utah Chartered Clubs (see trackwrestling for a complete list) (must be approved to host a weigh-in site, email [email protected] to get approved) Membership Must have USA Card (no 3rd graders allowed in the 4th-6th or 7th-9th grade divisions) 4th-6th graders are allowed to wrestle in the Junior High Division but they cannot wrestle in both the Middle School & Junior High Divisions. Seeding meeting The seeding meeting will take place Friday morning at 9:00am at Bingham HS. We will release pre-seeds Thursday night by 5pm. If you have issues with seeding and cannot attend the seeding meeting you need to email Jeff Newby Thursday night by 10pm. If you send in information after 10pm it may not be used. All seed changes that happen in the seeding meeting are final, so if you do not attend just beware that seeds can and will change during that meeting. Schedule of Events for Middle School State (4th-6th grade) - Friday January 26th 9:00am Middle School & JH seeding meeting (to attend you must have USA Coaches Card) 11:30am Session 1: 60lbs-96lbs brackets only 1:00pm Session 2: All weights will begin/continue and run through placement matches 5:00pm Session 3: Middle School Northern State Championship finals (2 mats) *finals will begin earlier if we are ahead of schedule Schedule of Events for Junior High State (7th-9th grade) - Saturday January 27th 8:30am Session 1: 88lbs-135lbs start wrestling 10:00am Session 2: 73lbs-84lbs & 142lbs-160lbs start wrestling 11:30pm Session 3: All remaining weights will begin/continue & run through placement matches 2:30pm Session 4: Junior High State Championship finals (6 mats) *finals will begin earlier if we are ahead of schedule nd rd 5:15pm 2 & 3 grade state festival 6:45pm K & 1st grade state festival Weight Classes 4th-6th grade: 55,60,64,67,70,73,76,79,82,85,88,92,96,100,105,115,125,145,145+ 4th-6th grade girls: 60,66,72,80,90,100,100+ 7th-9th grade: 73,76,80,84,88,92,96,100,104,108,112,116,120,125,130,135,142,150,160,175,190,210,285 7th-9th grade girls: 85,95,105,115,125,140,140+ Period length Championship: 1.5-1.5-1.5 Awards Medals for top 6 & 2 MOW Awards for each division Team awards for top 2 teams in the Middle School division Team awards for top 2 club teams & top 2 Junior High teams in the Junior High division Concessions will be available Admission: $5 for Adult & Student, 4 & under free, (Coaches with USA Card get in free)
