Viv’s Art Quilt 29” x 26” Level - Intermediate
Learn to freehand cut and sew gentle curves making this fun quilt designed by a friend of mine. We will also learn how to face an art quilt and a few other ‘bonus’ techniques. You will need 13 different fabric stips that range in size between 1 and 2 inches wide by 21” (you will be sent cutting instructions when you have registered for class). Notice how this quilt migrates from purple to red to orange to yellow and then back to purple. You will want colors that ‘sit’ nicely together. Bring extra of the fabrics you use. You will also need 1 ½ yards background fabric. Precut kits will be available if you pre order them from me at [email protected] at least 3 weeks before class.
