Breakthrough Barricades Jeremy:
I want to go through some breakthrough barricades. Now, as we go through this journey of transformation, there's going to be inevitable barricades and there's going to be challenges. There's going to be things that we face, but I want you to be clear of the real barricades that a lot of people put up in front of them that lead to them breaking down and going away from their real breakthrough. I want to go through those and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to give you some clear tactics to be able to actually face those barricades, run towards those barricades, embrace those obstacles and finally, break through once and for all. I'm going to give you some real tactical stuff here. We're going to walk through first what are those breakthrough barricades, that wall that most people put up that really they face and they typically turn the other direction. Well, number one, first and foremost, is fear. I think we all can recognize that fear can be a massive, massive barricade to creating transformation in our lives or any level of change in our lives. There are some real deeper level of fears whether it's fear of loss, fear of ... The opportunity cost is not there and therefore, if you go in one direction, you're going to lose out on the other. If you go for this opportunity, then you might lose out on this other career opportunity, whatever it might be. There's that fear of loss. There's that fear that you're going to lose out on one thing because you went for another. There's also that fear that it's just going to be too difficult and you're not going to be able and have the capacity to be able to face it. You're going to go after it and it's just not going to work out and there's this fear that really leads to the level of self-doubt. That's another massive barricade. People have a level of self-doubt. There's no confidence. There is a very low level of self-worth, which is inevitably tied to identity. We're going to talk a little bit of how identity is shaped and really being able to create clarity around this is so important like we talked about before. Having a strong identity is necessary. You've got to be able to set that foundation in place. You've got to be able to start building the right conditioning with yourself and following through and creating the reputation that allows you to know that you are the one that's going to step up and you're the one that's going to do what they say they're going to do. But without that, there's that level of self-doubt. There's that level of lack in self-worth and there's that level of lack in confidence to know, "Oh, my gosh, I don't know what's on the other side of this. Am I going to be able to face it? Am I going to be able to cope with it? Am I going to be able to really follow through?" Then, that leads to a level of uncertainty and not knowing what is on the other side of this. "Oh, my gosh, I've never faced anything like this before. Can I handle it?" Then, you

inevitably just get stuck. There's that barricade of feeling like you just don't know where to go and you don't know what the next step is and therefore, it just builds that level of lack in confidence and that fear of not knowing what's there and that self-doubt that you're not going to be able to really step up to the plate and face it the way that you know that you can. Then, there's this other thing, which is probably the biggest addiction in the current human experience which is the approval of others. We are so addicted to the approval of other people and the approval of what other people think of us whether it's on social media, whether it's in our job, whether it's in our family, whatever it is. Just think, there is such a massive addiction to the approval of what other people think. And if that is what is running, our emotional alignment and intelligence around the steps to be taken to change in our lives, then we're always going to feel stuck. We're always going to have a level of self-doubt because let's be honest, if you're seeking the validation and approval of others, there's always going to be the openness of self-doubt because they're not going to ever believe in you the way that you can believe in you once you finally rewire your hard wiring. Once you finally rewire your hardware. Bottom line is, you cannot be thriving when you are validated and seeking validation from others. It's just not possible. It's just not possible. Give that up. Give it up once and for all. Give up the approval of others. Give up the addiction to needing validation from anyone else in your life. I don't care if it's a family member. I don't care if it's your best friend. I don't care if it's anyone. You can get feedback but you do not need validation from anybody. You get to finally start taking ownership of who you are, of your power to change, of your ability to not need the approval of anyone else in your life. Now, there are some real tactical ways that we can start facing these barricades so that we can finally start breaking through, finally start actually, truly stepping up and breaking through these barricades. The first is what I called fear of contrasting. This is a practice where it actually is a very simplified version of what you may be have heard of in terms of fear setting but fear casting is really simplified to two things which are really the only two things at the end of the day that we have. No matter your circumstances, no matter anything else in your life, no matter what happened your cat the other day, no matter what happened at work the other day, no matter what happened in your relationship, if you miss to work out today, whatever. No matter what happens in your day, there's only two things that we're going to lay our head down to at night and that is either the results that allowed us to follow through with what we know we want, the results of knowing. We took action to create something more meaningful and impactful in our lives, or simply the regret of knowing that we didn't step up to the plate. We didn't do what was necessary. We didn't live in excellence. We didn't truly do what was necessary to become and live by the person we know we are and the person we know is going to be able to get the results that we want. If we didn't step into that, bottom line is there's only these two things at the end of the day that you have. What I invite you to do right now, and if you want to go through this,

it's a very powerful practice and I'm just going to, for one, it will open your mind in many different ways. But go ahead and take out a piece of paper and in the middle, I want you to split it down in the middle with a line and on the left-hand side, go ahead and write "regrets" at the top of the page and on the right-hand side, write "results". This is a very, very simplified practice that I use in a way that allows really one to experience the powerful contrast of fear. It's almost illusory and even laughable when you write it out. What you can do is what are the things, the first one on the left, you're going to write down what are all the things that you'll regret if you finally follow your dream. What are the things that you're going to regret? What are the worst possible scenarios that could happen to you if you were to follow your dream once and for all and truly follow it with excellence, truly step into your creative genius, truly step into sharing your gift with this world? What are the worst things that could happen? The absolute worst case scenario? Go ahead and share it on paper, and go ahead and write it down. I want you to write it down and as clear as you possibly can. It doesn't have to be more than a sentence or two, but be very clear. If it's just one word, that's fine. But define it for yourself. What are all the things you'll regret if you follow your dream? Go ahead and do that now. Pause this session if you will and do that, and then come back to it. Now, let's go over the next side of it. What are all the positive, inspiring, impactful and fulfilling results that will come from you chasing your dream? Go ahead and write those down. Go ahead and write down every single positive, inspiring and impactful, and fulfilling result that will actually be realized in your life from you chasing your dream. In full integrity, with excellence, every single day doing what's necessary, what are all the amazing results that will come from that? Go ahead and write those down right now. Now, what you've more than likely discovered is this breakthrough of realizing that what really gets to happen. Just look at those two lists. Look at those two lists and it gives you a very clear indication that you get to start embracing the fear, embracing the barricades and do it anyway. If it lines with who you know you are and what to become and the results that you are looking to create in your life and there's a barricade to that, embrace it and do it anyway. Go through it. Move towards it. Attack it and start embracing that fear and that challenge because here's a thing, think of courage in the human experience. Courage as a human expression of genius can only be articulated in the face of fear. Fear is a necessary variable if you are in any way going to display a level of courage. It is fear plus the willingness to act in spite of that fear. If that fear is not there, if you are always just doing things in your life that you're not really that afraid of and you're setting goals that don't really make you nervous or don't really bring fear into the equation. By definition, you cannot be courageous. By definition, you're not willing to live a courageous life. It's just that simple.

Let's examine your results. When you set them as goals, are they scaring the hell out of you? Or, are they just kind of goals that you know you can achieve or that you achieved in the past, or that you've seen other people achieve in your space, in your environment of condition paradigms that people within that same exact space you've seen people do it? And therefore, you set is as a goal for yourself. Let's be very honest here. Again, you get to feel the fear and you take action regardless. I want you to realize that this equation really is stretching yourself beyond this fear factor that you are held back by and this barricade to your creative genius, you finally facing and having the willingness to act is actually a necessity for achieving what's known as the flow state. Or, if you are familiar with sports, it's like being in the zone and you are just literally, you're not even like thinking. You were just acting and doing and feeling, and it just flows from you. It is necessary for you to have fear and have some deep barricade in challenge and obstacle and facing that to be able to reach a level of flow state. The fear, danger, pain, challenge, barricades plus the willingness to act despite of that fear is what is going to allow you to articulate that courage. Without fear, again, by definition, you're not articulating anything other than your ability and willingness to tolerate mediocrity, to tolerate the status quo. It is a necessity for achieving this level of flow state and again, we'll go into that a little bit later in another lesson. I'm going to teach you exactly what's necessary for you to be able to achieve and experience flow state every single day of your life. But right now, these tactical things of what you can do to face these barricades, the prosperity of owning your power will unlock your ability and power when you finally change your relationship with fear. What is your relationship with fear right now? Is it something when you feel that pressure, when you feel that strain of fear, do you block it? Do you try to be fearless, or do you look to be courageous and you look to face that fear, and you welcome that fear, and you welcome those challenges in your life that take you to the next level? What is your relationship with fear right now? Let's be very clear on this, and go through that fear of contrasting practice, go through that examination of the courage equation, and let's get clear on exactly what your relationship is with fear. Let's examine the feedback that we're getting from based on your results. Where can we change and develop and upgrade that relationship with fear so that you are every day embracing that opportunity to face your biggest fears? Here's what you get to do, simply release all the attachment to what anyone else in your life thinks, does, that is nothing to do with who you get to become and what you get to step into as your future. Release all the attachment, and you get to unleash absolute certain alignment to the deeper essence and core of the inner entrepreneur that you are. It's all within you. You simply get to seize it. You can make this shift immediately and I'm going to show you in a second how you can immediately make that shift. There are

three things that are important for you to remember from this, being able to release attachment and unleash alignment. Immediately right now you can do this. First off, you need to accept and truly appreciate where you are right now. Just accept it. Accept where you are right now. You're stuck. There are some fear. There's an obstacle in the way. There's a barricade up. Accept it. Acknowledge it. Have the conscious level of awareness and emotional intelligence to realize that that is something that is actually there, and you actually have the ability to change it. Acknowledge that you have the power to make the decision necessary for you to overcome that obstacle, and for you to say, "Enough is enough. I'm going to break through this once and for all." You get to acknowledge that you have the power to change it. Then, you simply act immediately on changing it. Act right now, immediately on changing it once and for all. That's it. The decision, commitment and declaration of finally saying, "Enough is enough, I'm going to accept where I am right now. I'm going to appreciate where I am, what's in my life, the situations, circumstances, obstacles, challenges, fear. I get to accept where I am right now. I get to acknowledge I have the power to change it once and for all, and I get to immediately act to change it. I get to align myself with what is necessary to be able to change it, and I get to act right now." That's going to open up you to finally breaking through and finally shifting. There's one thing very tactical that you can put into play right now, and you can even walk through this as I share it with you, and I invite you to do it. Stand up. Go ahead and stand up, and it's okay. Don't worry. If you're in a crowd of people, hey, maybe you'll invite them to opening up their energy to a more empowering state. Let's have some fun. Go ahead and stand up right now as you watch this. Go and stand up and these are what I refer to as "Yes" moments. You got something happened in your day, a challenge that you're facing. You stubbed your toe. Somebody pissed you off at the office. Something happened that is throwing you off track. Guess what? That gets to be a "Yes" moment. When you're feeling fear, when you're feeling the obstacles and challenges, you're exactly where you need to be, to be able to declare what is necessary for you to become who you want to become, and that is these "Yes" moments right here. As you're standing, I want you to go ahead and put that fist in the air. Go and put that fist right up in the air. Go ahead and clench your fist, bring it down to your abdomen, and I want you to shout at the top of your lungs, "Yes!" Go ahead and share it. Let's hear it. Share it out loud. That is your "Yes" moment. That is your tactical mechanism for making an immediate shift. When something is up, when there's a challenge, when there is the typical barricade that would hold you back from finally breaking through, that gets to be your "Yes" moment. When that comes up, I want you to actively engage your body, your vocal capability and I want you to share your "Yes" moment with the world and simply, "Yes!" Right in the face of it. That is your "Yes" moment. That is how we face these barricades. That's how we step into breakthrough.
