Weekend Recap October 17th-18th
USSDA- This past weekend the DA took on PA Classics U13-U14 Academy from Pennsylvania, PA Classics got an early goal in the 2nd half, PWSI couldn’t find the back of the net to answer and the game ended 1-0 in favor of PA Classics.
State Cup- PWSI had 3 teams in State Cup action this weekend the Courage Boys 99 Red, Courage Girls 99 Red, and Courage Girls 97 Red.
Presidents Cup- We have 4 teams moving on to the semi-finals in this year’s Presidents Cup Tournament. The Courage Boys 01 White, The Courage Boys 02 White, Courage Girls 03 White and Courage Girls 99 White have all clinched berths in the Semifinals this Saturday.
Courage 01 Boys White- the boys 01 white picked up right where they left off last season with a 1-0 against CVU will play FCSC this Saturday in the Presidents Cup semi-final if they win they will move on to the final on Sunday.
Courage boys 02 White- the boys 02 white are moving on after a 1-0 win against BRYC the boys 02 white will face off against Herndon Argentinos Black in their semi-final game with hopes of playing in the final on Sunday.
Courage Girls 03 White- The girls 03 White are also on to the semi- final after a 3-0 win against Mclean in the quarter finals. They will move on to play FFC 03 Girls Red this Saturday.
Courage Girls 99 White- the girls 99 white will get ready to go head to head against Beach FC 99 Girls Black in this weekend’s Presidents Cup Semi- Final.
Courage 99 Boys Red- the 99 Boys Red took on Arlington Eagles Red this weekend where they fell 5-0. They have one game left in the group stages where they will face CYA 99 Boys purple this weekend.
Courage 99 Girls Red- the 99 Girls Red faced off against SOCA this past weekend where they won 2-1. The girls fell just short of making the final 4 of the tournament by a point.
Courage 97 Girls Red- after a 5-0 win this weekend against Richmond Kickers the 97 Girls Red are in the final four, they move on to the semifinal to face off against Arlington Rowdies Red.
Courage 04 Boys White- Boys 04 White traveled up to Maryland this weekend to take on SEVP Heat where they fell 4-3 they currently sit in 3rd in NCSL with 3 games remaining.
Courage 03 Boys Red- Boys 03 Red were in action this weekend as they added another win to their record with a 4-2 victory against VSA they currently sit in 3rd place with 4 games remaining.
Courage 02 Boys Red- boys 02 Red are still undefeated in league play as they chalked up another W with a 4-1 victory against VSA, they currently sit in 1st place with 4 games remaining.
Courage 04 Girls Red- 04 Girls Red were back in action this weekend as they added another victory to their record as they won 3-2 against VSA. They currently sit in 3rd place with 4 games remaining.
Courage 02 Girls Red- 02 Girls Red are still sitting at the top of the table undefeated, they added another victory with a 2-0 win against VSA.
