Welcome CFYFL Families; We would like to take a moment and thank you for joining forces with the fastest growing Youth Football and Cheerleading program in Central Florida. We are a proud member to the American Youth Football THE Nation's largest youth tackle football and Cheer program, which boasts approximately 1-million participants in 50 states. We are also proud members of USA Football, Heads-Up Certificated coaching organization and an NFL Youth Partner Organization. The Central Florida Youth Football League is a family oriented youth tackle football and cheerleading program. With an emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship and respect for self and others we encourage all of our student/athletes to strive for excellence in all they do both on the field and off. We offer spring and fall season football & cheer programs We are very excited to have you and your family on board as we enter our 7th season and continue to grow at an amazing rate. The future is bright, and our goal of making the CFYFL THE most positive and best youth sports program in the state continues to be realized. We consider you a part of the CFYFL family, (You will hear us refer to the CFYFL as a "family" often) and again, you are invited to be as active as you like and participate in all the activities we host year 'round! Your head Coach will contact you on or before July 5th. Tam assignments are based off high school zones. Team rosters are formed on a first come first served basis, we make every effort to honor team requests but please remember that team requests are not guaranteed. All Parents & Players are required to attend our Parent Night event will be on Thursday July 14th - 6:30pm at the Bahia Shrine Center 2300 Pembrook drive, Orlando, FL 32810. At this time all important team and league information will be discussed including the leagues one time fundraiser. In addition parents and player will get the opportunity to meet the coaches. In addition the All Star Opportunity events will be discussed Fall season practice begins Thursday July 23rd. On this day all team will collect necessary document needed for team book. Official team practice will be Monday July 27 th and for the first 2-weeks practice will be 5-days per week. Once school begins practice will be 3-days per week max. All games are played on Saturdays. Make-up is necessary will be played on following Sunday *Mandatory Fall League Player Certification and Equipment hand out will be posted on the league website. The fall league season will be fast approaching; we would like everyone to be prepared for what is needed once the season begins. Here are a few items that will be provided for your child and what you’ll be responsible to provide for your child: CFYFL will provide: 1. Football Helmet with a basic chin strap (must return) 2. Mouth Guard (player keeps) 3. Football Shoulder Pads (must return) 4. Game Pants (must return) 5. Game Jersey personalized (Players gets To Keep at End of Season) What you should provide for your child: 1. Football Cleats 2. 7- Piece pad girdle Sets 3. Practice Jersey & Practice Pants **Please note the league sells all types of practice gear at extreme discounts compared to retail stores. CFYFL Cheer program will provide: 1. Cheer Shell, Skirt, Pom-poms 2. Cheerleaders get to keep practice sets (Shorts & Shirts) Documents you will need to complete your registration on the FIRST day of practice (7/23/15): 1. Current physical on the CFYFL Form Only (dated after January 1st of this year) *Returning spring 2015- players can use that paperwork and physical (dated after 1/1/2015) 2. Copy of participant’s birth certificate 3. Copy of most recent report 4. Emergency medical release form (download from website) 5. Minor waiver release form (download from website) 6.
