In trying to balance controlling the costs for our annual ice fees with the needs of the association, fundraising has become vital to our organization. Fundraising opportunities vary annually, but are popular choices. In addition to Fundraising, mandatory volunteer hours must be fulfilled by DPYH members at every level (except HIP). Each family is responsible to sign-up for volunteer opportunities throughout the season. A $100 volunteer deposit check is required at registration and is returned at the end of the season pending volunteer requirements have been satisfied.

Season

Registration opens in July and a parent meeting is held in September. You must register prior to the parent meeting, as paperwork is due at that time. You can register and find additional information online on the DPYH website (www. DePere.Pucksystems2.com)under the Registration Tab.

For HIP and Mite players, the following equipment is available for use during the season: shoulder pads, elbow pads, shin pads, breezers, socks, skates and stick. HIP and Mites will need to provide their own helmets, mouthguards, practice jerseys/socks and sport cup. Squirt through Bantam players will need to provide their own equipment. All levels of players will have game jerseys provided for them. DPYH usually hosts an equipment sale/swap at the beginning of the season and is a great way to grab what you need and have help getting fitted!

Our hockey season typically starts in October and ends in early March. Optional warm-ups start in September for Mites - Bantam.
