Beginner's Quilt Class In this 3 week class you will learn how to do accurate power cutting, strip piecing and assemble of a quilt top. You will make a rail fence quilt top during these classes. We will go over your machines, cutting, measuring, ¼” seam allowance. Be sure you pick up your supply list ahead of class, you will want to wash and iron your fabric BEFORE you come to class! We will help you pick out your fabrics. You will need rulers, cutter, cutting mat and a book. You will receive a 10% discount on anything you purchase for class and if you decide to have your quilt machine quilted you will receive 10% off of your quilting as well. You will probably want to sign up for Judy Pierce’s finishing that quilt class when you are you are finished with this class. Madeline Bag In this class you will be making this fun fat quarter friendly bag which measures approximately 13" by 14". Only four fat quarters are needed! Francine Anderson will be teaching this class. FEBRUARY 4th, 2012 10am to 2pm Cost: $20.00
"And Your Point Is?"… Fun and Fast! A super class for beginners or a quick gift. And your point is has instructions for quilt sizes from baby up to queen size. A few pointers has instructions for all three patterns, Wall hanging 35” x 35”, 27” Euro Pillow & 25” Table topper. You decide which pattern to make. Sliced Charm Runner A quilt as you go pattern. Now is the chance to use one of those bundles of Charm Squares that you have been waiting for the right pattern to come along. Well here is the pattern and it is so simple that you will have the runner done in no time flat. Finished size about 15"x 40". Teacher: Missy Ruelle FEBRUARY 18th, 2012 10am to 1pm Cost: $15.00
Finish That Quilt Borders, Binding and Bias Binding AND the Blind stitch This beginner's class is a must for anyone that wants to learn the correct way to do your borders and how to make a "no lump binding" for your quilts or other projects that you have completed. You will also learn how to do the blind stitch on your binding so you don't see the stitches! Bring a small project that you would like to put binding on. Teacher: Judy Pierce FEBRUARY 25th, 2012

Supplies needed for classes are: sewing machine, rotary cutter, scissors, rulers, fabric and pattern needed for class. Make sure you have everything you need for your class when you register. It is a good idea to read the pattern to make sure you have all the supplies you will need for your class. Our classes are "fragrance free", please do not wear any kind of perfume or lotion that has an odor to it. We have customers with allergies and asthma. Thank you for your cooperation. Feel free to bring a bag lunch with you to your class. Want to take a class but don't have a sewing machine? We have extras that can be used for classes. Let us know so we can reserve a machine for you! If we cancel a class for any reason, you will receive a full refund or a credit applied to another class as you wish.
