Learning and Growing Together Friday, 23 June 2017 Year 2 Seaside Trip to Filey Tuesday, 04 July 2017 Trip Leader- Mrs Snow Dear Parent / Carer,
To celebrate all the hard work the children have done this year we will be visiting Filey for a day at the seaside. The children will not need to bring a packed lunch as we will be having fish and chips as an extra special treat. We have attached a slip for you to complete and send back to your class teacher indicating which meal your child would like for their lunch. The children should wear play clothes or clothes that can get messy. We are planning to go rock pooling while at the seaside so we ask that your child wears appropriate footwear and has a waterproof jacket in case the weather is poor. We are also planning to build sand castles, so we ask that your child brings a bucket, spade and a net in to school on Friday 30th June. The cost of the trip is £13.25 for those having fish and chips and £12.25 for those having sausage / fishcake and chips. The cost of the trip includes coach travel, insurance and lunch and can be paid via Parent Pay by Friday, 30 June 2017. If you pay at a Pay Point please ensure you collect a barcode from the office in advance, to enable you to make payment by the deadline. Your Son / Daughter may bring up to £1 of spending money with them on the day to pay for an ice cream. Please give this to your class teacher on the morning of the trip.
