Tonight, the Yeshiva University men’s basketball team hosts FDU-Florham, in the final non-conference game of the regular season, at the Max Stern Athletic Center. This is the fifth contest of Yeshiva’s six-game homestand. TBA Last season, the Maccabees earned a win over the Devils on the road, 65-49. Simcha Halpert has been named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll, four times this season. He received Skyline Conference Player of the Week honors on November 27, and earned Honorable Mention accolades by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association, back on December 4. Halpert is averaging 22.8 points per game, which is first in the Skyline Conference. He leads the team with 18 total steals and 10 blocked shots, so far this year. For the season, Bar Alluf is averaging 17.9 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per contest. His 3.8 dimes per game leads the team. Daniel Katz is scoring 9.5 points per game, while Michael Hayon is grabbing five rebounds a night. For the Devils, Darren Davey is averaging a team-high 13.3 points per game and leads the team with 8.4 rebounds per contest. Ahmad St. Fleur ranks first on the team with 2.8 assists per game and 13 total steals. Rajaan Dixon is averaging 10.6 points per contest, while Anthony Mitchell is scoring 9.7 points per night.
