Tonight, the Yeshiva University men’s basketball team hosts Ramapo College, in a non-conference showdown, at the Max Stern Athletic Center. In the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, the Roadrunners are ranked TBA No. 6 in the nation. This is the second time this season that Yeshiva is facing a top-10 team in the country. Back on November 26, YU played at No. 3 Williams College, with the Ephs winning the contest by a score of 78-65, at the John Wesley Chandler Athletic Center. Simcha Halpert was once again named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll, this past Monday. He also earned Honorable Mention accolades by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association, back on December 4. Halpert is averaging 23.5 points per game, which is first in the Skyline Conference. He leads the team with 15 total steals and 10 blocked shots. For the season, Bar Alluf is averaging 17.8 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per contest. His 3.6 dimes per game leads the team. Daniel Katz is scoring 9.1 points per game, while averaging 4.9 rebounds a night. For the Roadrunners, Christopher Mosley is averaging a teamhigh 13.4 points per game and leads the team with seven rebounds per contest, and nine total blocks.
