Educator Training Workshop - 2013
The 3M Foundation is generously sponsoring Dangerous Decibels Educator Training Workshops this year. Scholarships are available – first-come, firstserved.
Workshop includes: • 2 days of training including hands-on practice time with feedback
April 6 & 7, 2013 - Anaheim, CA Early summer – Austin, TX August 8 & 9 – Portland, OR October 17 & 18 – St. Paul, MN
We prepare and equip you to expertly present a 50-minute program that has been proven effective at changing knowledge, attitudes, and intended behaviors in students regarding their hearing health.

Open to all professional and educational backgrounds. Open to anyone interested in teaching the valuable lesson of hearing loss prevention.
This two-day certification workshop is lead by Oregon Health & Science University, Portland State University, and University of Northern Colorado hearing conservation, health communication, educational outreach experts. Participants receive an educator kit with graphics, simulations, supplies, a sound level meter, and a script needed to present the classroom program.
