General Conditions: 1. You must display this permit on your kiosk. 2. You are responsible for your kiosk and equipment while operating on the NCC parkway. The NCC is
not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged equipment. 3. You must be sure that the beverage or other product you sell is safe for consumption. 4. You must be sure to keep your work area and kiosk clean at all times. When closing for the day, be sure
to remove all litter and installation. 5. You must be sure that you operate the kiosk safely, so that the public and your customers are not in
any danger. You agree that the NCC will not be responsible for any consequences, complaints or claims that arise from your activity. 6. You must respect all laws and regulations while you are operating your kiosk. This includes federal,
provincial and municipal laws and regulations concerning, but not limited to, health and safety. 7. If you post any signs on or near your kiosk, they must appear in both English and French (English
first). 8. You must agree to indemnify and save harmless the NCC, and anyone for whom the NCC is
responsible, from all financial consequences, including reasonable legal fees, arising from any demands, claims or actions made or brought against the NCC, directly or indirectly, and resulting from the Activity. This clause shall survive the termination of this Permit. Additional Conditions or Information:
We strongly recommend you participate in the training workshop offered by JA Ottawa before starting your activity. You agree that at least 7% of all revenues you collect during this activity will be donated to a cause or charity of your choice. You must advise the NCC of the revenues you’ve earned, along with the name of the charity organization at the end of the Sunday Bikedays season. You agree to operate and be present at your kiosk for three Sundays. You understand that the location of your activity is based on availability of the site. You confirm that you are between the ages of 5 and 17 years old. You agree that your kiosk will not be larger than 10’ x 10’. To promote public health and safety, you must ensure: o to respect the road closures (9 am to 1 pm) and install the kiosk before the road closes for Sunday Bikedays. Afterwards, you must remove your kiosk as soon as the road reopens to vehicles. o that customers park their bikes on the grass to avoid any potential accidents with Sunday Bikedays participants; You must be present and supervise your kiosk during the entire activity; The parent/ legal guardian of the Young Entrepreneur has read and signed this special permit.

The sale of products must be compatible with the Sunday Bikedays program, and is subject to NCC approvals.
Parental Consent/Indemnity I, ___________________________________ (Full Name of Parent/Guardian), have read and understood the conditions above and hereby give consent for my child’s participation in the above named Activity. I acknowledge and agree that the Young Entrepreneur participates in the Activity at my own risk. I agree to exercise appropriate supervision, given the age of the Young Entrepreneur and other relevant factors. In consideration of the participation of the Young Entrepreneur in the above Activity, I agree to indemnify and save harmless the NCC, and anyone for whom the NCC is responsible, from all financial consequences, including reasonable legal fees, arising from any demands, claims or actions made or brought against the NCC, directly or indirectly, and resulting from the Activity, including, without limitation, claims or actions by any person in relation to any injury or loss occasioned by the Young Entrepreneur at, or as a result of or in the course of the activity, any failure of the Young Entrepreneur to follow any conditions of the permit or any directions given by NCC staff, or any act or omission of the Young Entrepreneur in the course of the Activity which causes or contributes to injury or loss to any person.
