Local growers donated plants and planting diagrams for an educational community service project for youth from the Municipal Housing Authority. With guidance from Oneida County Master Gardener’s youth were able to learn proper planting techniques, how to follow a planting plan as well as the needs and growing characteristics of several different plants.
