Nominations are invited for the

Excellence Awards 2014 Thursday, 9 October 2014, The Events Centre, Caloundra Do you know an individual or project that demonstrates innovative thinking, best practices and value to your community? This is the ideal opportunity to recognise, reward and showcase your projects and your people’s achievements by nominating them for the IPWEA Queensland Excellence Awards. Recognition Each year the IPWEA Queensland presents these prestigious awards to encourage excellence in the innovation, development, completion and management of local government and public works projects. Nominations are invited from IPWEA Queensland Members from councils and organisations - for individual practitioners and projects. It’s important to note that nominations should not be constrained by project or organisation size and will be judged on their merits.

Asset management projects which address best practice and in particular show a whole of organisation perspective

Water, waste water, sewerage and drought management (sponsored by Queensland Water Directorate)  - Projects over $10 million - Projects $5 million to $10 million  - Projects $1 million to $5 million - Projects under $1 million (assistance with nomination is available) - Innovation and/or Introduction of New and/ or Improved Techniques

We would like to encourage applicants to submit your Project Awards as a paper into the technical program of the IPWEA Queensland Annual Conference. Full papers for the conference are due on Tuesday 22 July 2014 and can be submitted through the speaker portal on the IPWEA Queensland website.
