Chief of Staff Job Description The Chief of Staff is an administrative resource to Student Government. They assist the president in executing and implementing programs / and or projects to better enhance student life. Also the Chief of staff acts as a liaison between the president and the other preceding branches. Ø The Chief of Staff is allowed to work 20 hours per week.

Duties 1. The Chief of Staff shall be responsible for the organization and operation of all internal Student Government business as pertains to the Executive Board. 2. Record meeting minutes. 3. Maintain, store, distribute all public records. 4. Manage the student government website. 5. Schedule meeting times via online scheduling software. 6. Oversee executive staff and manage the point system. 7. Perform any other duties under the discretion of the President.

Minimum Qualification Ø Ø Ø Ø



Must remain in good academic standing with the University of South Florida-Sarasota-Manatee Must be able to serve for a full term: Fall 2017- Spring 2018 Must list USFSM as home campus and take at least one class at USFSM each semester (Fall and Spring) Must have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA
