Director of Marketing Job Description The Director of Marketing and Promotions serves a marketing liaison for the entire Student Government Association. The Director of marketing shall be responsible for managing and overseeing all marketing campaigns for Student Government. Ø Director of Marketing of the Campus Activities Board is allowed to work 25 hours per week.

Duties 1. The Director of Marketing shall oversee the general operation of the Office of

Marketing and Promotions. 2. Develop relative marketing campaigns for major SGA events. 3. Call and chair weekly meetings. 4. Prepare an agenda for weekly meetings. 5. Ensure representation at Executive and JuSenEx meetings. 6. Be responsible for the recruitment and retention of new members of the Marketing Department. 7. Ensure review of the ROP periodically. 8. Monitor the point system. 9. Design, publish, and maintain updates on the Carousel monitors. 10. Perform any other duties under the discretion of the President.



Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience): Ø Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop Ø Writing and design skills/experience Ø Must be in good academic standing with the University Ø Must list USFSM as their home campus and take at least one class at USFSM each semester (Fall and Spring) Ø Must not be under current disciplinary probation, suspension or expulsion Ø Must be able to complete a full term: May 2017 – May 2018

Preferred Qualifications (Education & Experience): Ø Adobe InDesign Ø Strong leadership and project management skills Ø Strong communication, design, and organizational skills Ø Creative thinking and results driven Ø Basic photography skills Ø Experience in professional office setting
