I. Meeting called to order @ 6:05pm in 2nd floor Conference room, FHS. II. Minutes: Chris moved to accept the Dec. 21st 2016 Annual meeting minutes as written. Larry seconded the motion. A voice vote was taken and the motion carried. III. President Report: Review of Annual Meeting: Chris asked the group how they felt the annual meeting went and asked for suggestions & comments. Larry said the meeting went good and it was a great turn out of parents. All agreed that the booster club would become bigger and better each year moving forward. IV. Recruitment Night: Friday, Jan. 15, 2016. Anyone available is asked to help. We currently have 25 athletes confirmed. Athletes will be met at the door by the Class of 2017 football players. Parents will meet in the large lecture hall for a short meeting with Head Coach Adam Fischer. John would like a membership table available for parent questions. V. By-Laws: John will rewrite the By-Laws to add the new Members At Large voted in at the annual meeting Dec. 21, 2015. This will be discussed and up for approval at the next meeting 2-8-16. VI. Website: We would like to see more activity on the website to keep parents & players interested. Coach Fischer will look into a possible blog area and talk to the coaches about writing a bio. VII. Tiger Fan Club overview: John and Eddie gave an overview of the new Tiger Fan Club. What it’s about and the benefits of being a member. A. Background checks, insurance, advertising, QuickBooks etc. are covered through TFC B. Concessions Possibilities: Each booster club will have opportunities to work concessions. Depending on how many hours/points you receive through the year is how much of the profit your club will receive at the end of the year. This is still being worked out at the Tiger Fan Club. Next TFC meeting is scheduled for Wed. Feb. 3rd FHS room 1201. VIII. Treasurer Report: Kevin stated only 3 transactions were made this month. Kevin & Kim will have a meeting at the end of this meeting to review the exchange of the books to Kim. IX. Secretary Report: Carmen stated the Dec. 21, 2015 minutes are approved and posted to the website. X. Website Report: When Tiger Fan Club’s website goes live, Carmen will have to manually move all of our content over to the new site. We will still have our own site with the same address. The new site will feature a few extra bells and whistles. This is part of what we paid for when we joined TFC.

Head Coach Adam Fischer: All athletes are in lifting classes and the off season agility program has started after school. A. Offensive Coaches will be attending a clinic in Dallas, run by University of California Tony Franklin, the weekend of Feb. 12, 2016. B. We have a fundraiser Basketball tournament coming to FHS the end of April. C. Looking into running a camp the first 3 weeks in June. Have to get a price from Bill for the facilities and would like to have paid coaches. Varsity on Mon. incoming 9-10 on Tues. 7-8 on Wed. 5 & 6 on Thur. D. Coach has the fields booked most of the summer months. E. Purchased 19 helmets and pads. Will talk with John about getting more helmets for 7th & 8th grade at coach’s discounted rate (buy 3 get 2 free). F. Halftime: We would like to have the younger players run a few plays on the field to get them more involved with our program. G. Spring fundraising activity: Possibly a bowling tournament. Looking for someone to lead on this. XII. Fundraising Opportunities: A. Krysia suggested selling raffle tickets for Ramble Jam (Sept. 13-14, 2016). 1. We would make 85% of the raffle ticket sales if we also worked at the event both days. 65% of the sales if we worked 1 of the days. XX % if we only sold tickets. Raffle tickets are $10.00 and sales end Sept. 3rd. Working the event would consist of clean-up crew or serving. Krysia has a Rotary meeting the first week of Feb. and will report back with more details at our next meeting. A. Larry & Jackie suggested hosting a summer football tournament grades 3-6. They will research this and bring the details to the next meeting. XIII. Old Business: Chris will review the old minutes and bring any relevant old business to the next meeting. XIV. Varsity Meals: Kim will head this up again in the fall. Jackie mentioned he works at DCTC and asked if his special needs students could help in any way. XV. Discussion on % of profits: John asked everyone’s opinion on what percentage of profits from Hosting/Administrating youth camps, SSYFL and 7 on 7 leagues, Ect. should go to the club. After discussions, it was decided we would need more data to make a good decision on this matter. XVI. 7th & 8th Grade Books: All 7th and 8th grade books will remain in their own category on the books. XVII. Communications Director: Chris motioned to have Heather Bean become our Communications Director. John seconded, a voice vote was taken, the motion carried. A. Her duties will include: Communication between all Class Representatives and Parents, keep an updated list of players and contact information. B. Heather will take over the club email address
