FC Peoria Player Registration Packet 2015-2016 Soccer Year
FC Peoria – Volunteer Policy Volunteerism is the foundation of all youth organizations. From the Board of Directors all the way through to the parents, the sharing of time and resources ensures success.
Travel Tournaments Volunteering – Required FC Peoria will host a fall and spring soccer tournament each year; the success of these events is dependent upon volunteers. In order to share the duties and keep workload to a manageable level, FC Peoria will require each family to work a minimum number of hours per tournament. Our Tournament director will calculate the total number of volunteer hours required to successfully execute our events. The total number of hours will be divided evenly among our member families. No less than 2 hours per tournament / per player will be required for each family with a maximum not to exceed 6 hours overall. In addition to this, all families are expected to help prepare the building and grounds for the tournament. During the tournaments there will be many volunteer opportunities, such as overall organization, registration, field lining, trash setup/pickup, parking attendants, registration, concessions, etc. It would be our intention that each family volunteer during time slots when their children are not playing.
Field and Building Maintenance Volunteering – Required In addition to club tournaments, each family is required to volunteer throughout the year to help maintain the fields and buildings. You will be invited to signup for one of these areas when you register your player(s) on the FC Peoria web site. Volunteer hours are scheduled and tracked using SignUpGenius. Consequences of not fulfilling the required commitments will be a $300 fee per family, unless otherwise approved by board of directors due to extenuating circumstances. Failure to pay the fee will result in your child/children not being allowed to attend practice, participate in games, or attend tryouts until it has been paid. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact a member of the FC Peoria Board of Directors.
Field, Building Maintenance, and Other Ongoing Volunteering Needs – Not Required We have other ongoing or one-time volunteer opportunities for those individuals (this can include grandparents) who have some extra time they could provide to the Club. Building and grounds opportunities range from field lining to snow plowing/shoveling to one-time projects, etc.
FC Peoria – Financial Policy Fees are due when indicated on the Fee Schedules.
Non-Payment or Late Payments Payment not made within a 15 day grace period of due date will result in the player card being held in the office and will disallow further participation of the player in training, programs, league, and tournament games.
