Dear Pupils, Parents, Carers and Friends, Thank you to Mrs Montgomery and her Reception Class who shared the story of ‘The Great Goat Chase’ so well this morning - what a great moral to the story. It was fantastic to see how confident they were. Well done to the children, and to Mrs Montgomery and Miss Doherty! I wonder if they will see goats when they visit Ash End Farm in a couple of weeks? This week we have been wishing Queen Elizabeth a very happy 90th birthday. In June we shall join in with celebrations when she has her official birthday. How lucky the Queen is to have two birthdays! We have also been learning about St George, our patron Saint. In the City Centre tomorrow there are activities in Broadgate to celebrate St George’s Day. Go along and see some traditional Morris dancing, and hear

First Holy Communion - Year 3 and above The children will receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 21st May at 10.30am. There will be a rehearsal on Monday 16th May at 6pm in the Church. If you missed the preparation class last Monday, please see Father Jimmy and Mrs MacDonald. PE Kits We have still had some children without their kits! Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit so that they can take part in lessons - and we aren’t phoning you to bring it in!!! Sainsbury’s ‘Active Kids’ Vouchers Please continue to collect the ‘Active Kids’ vouchers from Sainsbury’s. In the past, these have enabled us to purchase lots of sports equipment for the school so they really do benefit the children. If you are able to collect any vouchers, then please send them in with your child. Many thanks.
