Cake sale There will be a cake sale in the hall next Friday after school for parents. Coffee and tea will be served by the Friends of OLC from 2.30pm. Why not come for a drink, cake and chat?
If you drop your children off in the carpark for Ace, please make sure that they cross it safely and are aware that there are often moving vehicles. An accident was narrowly avoided today. Thank you

Evie Goan and Elizabeth Wood had a To Live as Jesus Taught Us Certificate from Mrs Vella for giving up their break times to help look after the children in FS1. Well done girls!

Please come and support the Friary Players Pantomime-Snow White. It is being performed in the school hall from the 18th20th February. A poster has been sent out via Parent Pay with further details. Fun for all the family!
To Live as Jesus Taught Us The children who received the award this week are: 6M – Abigail Cherry for looking after Miss Mitchell when on crutches. 5/6H –Harriet Flay for always being enthusiastic and trying her best. 5B –Tinesha Tharmathasan for being a kind friend and a cheerful member of the class 4LK –Emilia Hancock for always being kind and caring 3/4E –Elizabeth Redfern for always showing determination in maths and being a caring friend 3D- Magdalena Townsend for being a good friend 2R – Jack Evans for making the right choices 1/2R – Callum O’Malley for an enthusiastic approach to his learning 1T – Jakub Skiba for making good choices RF – Patrick Hancock having lovely manners RM – Kayley Hegarty-Smith- for being kind and thoughtful to others NW-Harriet Corcoran for being friendly to others
Each half term we focus with the children on certain words to do with different attributes. This half term the words are “Compassionate” and “Loving.” 4LK have created acrostic poems around the words. William would like to share his with you: Let your hear be kind to everyone Outgrowing with love. Very happy when you share with friends. Everlasting friendship. Continue to show mercy. Open your heart to forgive Make yourself show pity. Please the people who are hurt Attend to the people in need Show pity Show mercy Instantly help each other Other people will respect you Never don’t help anyone. Dear Lord, Please help us to make every day compassionate and loving. Amen
Mrs Montandon’s Shop Some children have now collected 10 stickers and have been to my shop for a treat. Well done!
