Step 1 — Front Cover
Remove the screws from the top and bottom of the camera. Remove the screws from the side of the camera where the lanyard is. Secure the exterior decorative fascia of the unit using the T5 Torx bit out of the 26 driver iFixit kit.
Step 2
Use a plastic opening tool to remove the fascia off of the securing attachments.

Step 3
Use the plastic opening tool to pry the casing off of the camera at the case points to loosen the case.
Work your way around the exterior of the case.
***Be careful when using the plastic opening tool around the case. Use caution when releasing the small section on the bottom of the unit.
Step 4
Carefully slide the case to the left.
Make sure to avoid the lens protrusion so you don't crack the case.
