Proposed Modifications Visitability Requirements for Townhouses: Option 1: • Primary (front) entrance is elevated 3’- 8’ above fronting sidewalk • Accessible entrance located on side or rear Option 2: • Ground story includes “zero-step entry/exit” • The following must also be provided: 1) Front entrance is accessible 2) Finished floor elevation of 2nd story is no higher than 9.5’ above sidewalk 3) A main entrance is also provided at 2nd story finished floor elevation (with separate stoop to that entry) 4) Min. interior ground story clear height is 8’ 5) Ground story building wall materials are differentiated from the upper stories
