GO Barcelona January Newsletter   January 10, 2017 Happy New Year from LeadAbroad!  This is an exciting time of year as we approach deadlines for payments, flights and forms.  Depending on your program acceptance date, you may have a payment due on January 15th. All pre-departure materials and deadlines can be found on the GO Barcelona program portal! Your next newsletter will be sent on February 10th.

Upcoming Program Fee & Tuition Payment Deadlines Payment due dates are based on when you were accepted to GO Barcelona.  As a reminder, you were accepted on . Payment #2 ($1,500 toward program fees) due:  Payment #3 ($1,800 toward program fees) due:  Payment #4 ($3,200 toward tuition) due:  Make a payment online here.  Note that payments made via credit card incur a 4% processing fee.  To avoid this fee, payments can be sent via check made payable to LeadAbroad and mailed to: LeadAbroad 4484 Peachtree Rd NE Atlanta, GA  30319 All payment policies can be found here.

  Group Flight Deadline is MARCH 31! Payment must be received by March 31st.  If you are mailing a check, please mail it by March 17th to allow plenty of time for the check to arrive. To reserve a seat on the flight, please click here to pay online.  Payment via check is also acceptable.  Please note that group flight payments are non-refundable.

Seats are limited and are first come, first served.

  Classes Abroad Shortly after you were accepted, you should have received an email notifying you of your class placement.  We currently have you in the following: To request a class change, please submit this form.  We will try our best to accommodate your request; however, we cannot guarantee a change will be made. All GO Barcelona syllabi can be found on the program portal here.

  Spanish Placement Test Reminder Students placed in Intermediate or Advanced Spanish must complete an online placement test to confirm their enrollment in the course.  Students who do not complete the test will be dropped from the class and placed into another available course. Click here for Oglethorpe University's placement test website Click Spanish Enter the password stormypetrel For language, select Spanish and click Begin For ID number, enter "LeadAbroad" For Question 1, enter your most recent Spanish class or the one in which you are currently enrolled Complete the assessment LeadAbroad will contact you if your results will impact your course placement 

  Do you have a passport? Check that it is not expired! If you do not have a passport, begin the application as soon as possible.  Instructions can be found here. If you have a passport but it expires within three months of your return to the U.S., begin the process to renew your passport as soon as possible.

  Begin Completing Pre-Departure Forms Review the list of forms below.  If LeadAbroad has received the form, you will see a date received.  If there is no date next to the form, please submit the form online. **Program waiver received:  General Form received:  Flight Form received:  Passport Form received:  **If you believe you have not received the program waiver, please search your email for "Please Sign Your LeadAbroad 2017 Program Waiver" from DocuSign.  These messages sometimes go to spam. Select your housing preference on the general form. A summary of your housing options can be found online here! Please complete the flight form after ALL flights have been booked.

Some passport forms return an error message.  Please disregard this error message as we are receiving all forms submitted. If your passport is expired, submit the form when you receive your NEW passport.
