Description: The ability to share Curriculum Maps has been added to LessonVUE. This functionality allows teachers to create a map, share it with selected staff members, and collaborate on its design. Additionally, Staff can merge details from multiple maps into a single map. To Create a Map for Sharing: 1. Navigate to LessonVUE > Curriculum Maps. Click New Map.
2. Define the details of the map. To share the map with additional staff, select the (+) next to the appropriate staff name(s) in the Map Sharing > Available Staff list. To remove an additional staff from a map, select the (-) next to the staff name Map Sharing > Additional Staff list.

To Merge Curriculum Maps: 1. Navigate to LessonVUE > Curriculum Maps. Click on the map name of the Curriculum Map to merge details from another map. •
Note: Only Maps for the same grading period and grade level can be merged together. st nd You cannot merge a map for 1 Quarter with a map for 2 Quarter.

Edupoint Technical Notification Available Maps dropdown, the teacher has 3 merge options (clicking the ‘?’ in the Sharing Options group box provides additional help/details regarding these options): •
Add items to my holding area - This selection copies items from the source map to the holding area for use on the destination map. It will not copy items that are already on the destination map or in the holding area.

Merge items with my map - This selection copies items to the destination map on the same date they appear in the source map. Items that are already on the destination map, but on a different date, move to the new date unless they are marked as taught. All other items on the destination map are left alone.

Clear my map and inherit items - This selection removes all the items currently on the destination map and copies the source map's items to your map.
4. With a map selected from the Available Maps dropdown, click the appropriate merge option to merge the maps. Items will appear on the map based on the merge option selected.
