HALF DAY JUNIOR CAMP Program Overview & Registration Form Program Overview The development of junior golfers is a priority at the Glencairn Golf Academy. Learning the game should be a fun and interactive learning experience. We focus not only on Developing proper swing mechanics but more importantly respect integrity and honour. This program is designed for ages 6 to 16. The weeklong camp will include the following:  Friday on course at Blue Springs (drop off and pickup at Blue Springs)  Developed in congruence with Golf Canada’s Learn to Play Program  Fun interactive lesson programs  National Junior skills competition (posted online nationwide)  Rules and etiquette

Rain Policy: Indoor activities are provided for rain days. Payment Policy: Balance is due upon registration for this program. Refunds will be paid in full minus 20% administrative fee for cancellations received up to 2 weeks in advance of the clinic or lesson date. There will be no refund of fees for lessons or clinics cancelled within 2 weeks of the clinic or lesson date. There are no make-up sessions for clinics or school sessions that are missed. We will need a minimum of 5 participants for the clinics to be held. Participants will be contacted only if there are any problems.

Please note there will be a late fee of $20.00 for every 15 minutes after scheduled pick up time. Pure Impact Golf Academy - Half Day Junior Camp

CODE OF CONDUCT The majority of the golfing experience happens on the golf course or practice facility, involving athletes and coaches. Because of this, we cannot ask parents to maintain a constant watch to ensure proper behavior from their children. As an organization with abiding responsibilities for the growth, development, safety and competitive success of dozens of young athletes, The Pure Impact Golf Academy has created a Code of Conduct. Our Code of Conduct applies to everyone associated with The Academy including golfers, coaches, parents, golf clubs, and volunteers. The Academy strives to ensure a safe environment for its members and endeavors to foster healthy relationships among its golfers. For these reasons, The Academy has adopted a zero-tolerance policy. Expectations / Responsibilities of Athletes           

Respect the efforts of coaches, facility staff, other group members and competitors Respect all public and private property, including practice facilities, clubhouse, and golf course Give 100% effort at all times throughout coaching sessions Be honest and upfront with all coaching staff Honor the integrity of the game Be a long term learner through the discovery process Have fun and always keep an open mind Attend and be on time for practices and competitions If asked, help setup or take down any training equipment (I.e. picking up golf balls, etc,) Unless otherwise specified, leave the golf course at the end of the coaching session Ensure that all Academy communication is delivered to parents

Prohibitions     

No use of alcoholic beverages No use of drugs other than those prescribed by your physician No use of smoking or chewing tobacco Disrespectful, indiscreet or destructive behavior will not be tolerated. It is the responsibility of each golfer to make every effort to avoid guilt by association with such activities at any time during the year No bullying any team members or competitors

Discipline While some behavior is much more unacceptable than others, any breach of a rule may result in some form of disciplinary action up to and including a temporary suspension or dismissal from the Academy (with no pro-rated or refund of lost time). Occasionally a coach must discipline an athlete. Depending on the nature of the problem, the coach may speak privately to the individual or to the parents. At the discretion of the Head Coach any one or all of the following actions will be applied: 1. Golfer may be sent home immediately from a coaching session or tournament at his / her own expense and if there is extra expense it will be golfer’s responsibility. 2. The golfer may be suspended from the program until the golfer and parents have had a conference with the Head Coach and appropriate disciplinary actions have been implemented.

JUNIOR GOLFER AGREEMENT - WAIVER PURPOSE: The purpose of this waiver is to promote the best possible individual, team, and program responsibility which supports the development of first class citizens at all times. Both the golfer and the parent have read and understand all sections of this document.

All participating juniors will abide by the outlined Code of Conduct. All participants and their parents have a responsibility to do their best to ensure that the Code of Conduct is adhered to and to help ensure the safety of these program participants.

The parent or legal guardian authorizes the golfer to participate in any coaching activities and releases The Pure Impact Golf Academy and Glencairn Golf Club from any and all claims which may arise by reason of the golfer’s participation in activities, including any and all claims which may arise due to bodily injury or illness.
