HERMITAGE GIRLS SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION October 16, 2012 Association Meeting Minutes Board Members: Dan Black, Ed Chess, Paula Hearns, Amy Hines, Corinne Combine, Participants: Joe White, Chad McCombs, David George, Report by Ed Chess:
Fields will be closed November 1st. The City requests that no one drive down to fields to drop off equipment, etc. Fields have been have aerated, seeded and fertilized. City to run Fall Ball in coming years and will begin to advertise in July to all players. Requested Paula to send email to coaches requesting keys be returned to City Building During the off season: Fencing will be installed as suggested by the HGSA; 2 larger gates for bigger machinery. Upper field in-field will be redone. Resetting of bases, mounds and home plate to help with water issues and the in-field will be laser graded Lower field okay at this time and will not have anything done to it. Permanent trash receptacles will be in place. 7 trash & 7 recyclable. Signage will be installed in the spring
Winter Clinic Opportunities: Ed Chess will speak with new High School Coach to see if there is an interest. He is aware that this is something that should be offered and will get back to HGSA board. Concession Clean Up: Corrine and Amy will work with Ed to finalize all that needs to be done with the concession. Items To Be Discussed and Assigned: HGSA By-Laws HGSA Organization going into 2013 HGSA Board Positions Next Meetings: Board Meeting: Wednesday, November 14th @ 7:00 pm Hermitage City Building
