Holiday Home Work – Grade VIII Students promoted to OI will be tested on the following as part of their regular weekly tests per schedule set for the Academic Year 2015-16. 1.
English: Download and save/print the VIII Reading List. You will be tested on the following books: o Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain o Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz o The Hound of Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle o The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono o Treasure Island by R. L. Stevenson o Great Expectations by Charles Dickens The test could be in the form of character sketches, reviews, comprehensions and / or summary writing.
