Hollidaysburg Soccer Association Board Meeting August 12, 2014 Present: Rick Madara, Tom Kendziora, David Teeter, Michael Routch, Anita Kendziora, Randy Trexler, Nicole Auman Absent: None Meeting called to order 8:30pm Field Preparation: The boxes have stakes and outlines have been painted. Some boxes still need painted and some goals need moved. Paint machine worked well and was much more efficient than previous machine. The mower will need some maintenance but will make it through the season. The grass looks nice. We have 3 more treatments on our current contract and then we can rebid. We will look to reseed in the fall after play is completed for the season. Rick Madara will hang the sponsorship signs on the field. Rick Madara will also hang no trespassing signs as well. Player form and fees deadline: All information and money for the fall teams are due August 20, 2014 in order to qualify for the season. Coaching: Beginning in 2015 Season, coaches will be required to be certified. More information will be coming on the exact requirements. All HSA 2014-2015 teams have coaches. ODP: Rick Madara will forward the information regarding ODP tryout information. U12B(Shale) U12G(Islett Referees – Recertification class will be held 11/2/2014. David Teeter will arrange the classroom. Spirit Wear: Anita Kendziora and Nicole Auman will research spirit wear at the Locker room in an effort to keep the business local. There are also some online shops that will customize wear. A plan will be sent via email to the board to expedite the process so that the gear would be ready for the season. AYSO: AYSO does not need any goals for the season. They have agreed to move them off the field when they are done using them. Meeting was adjourned at 9:40PM
