31 Days of Prayer for One City Church (OCC)

In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. (Psalm 5:3)

Pray that the Lord will strengthen the faith of the core team of OCC. Pray that God will open doors for us to develop a partnership with Ross Elementary. Pray for the financial resources necessary to become self-sustaining by the 3rd year (2019). Pray that those living on Ross Street will come to have faith in the one true God. Pray for God’s leading for a facility to use weekly starting in August 2016. Pray that God will multiply the faith of Alec & Tammy Millen (and their kids – Chelsea, Amber, Benjamin and Savannah) as they lead OCC.
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11)
7. Pray for the development of relationships with business leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 8. Pray that those living on Ice Street will come to have faith in the one true God. 9. Pray that the core team of OCC will be “steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord”. 10. Pray that members of First Presbyterian will grow in their faith in God’s mighty power. 11. Pray for the development of relationships with other community leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 12. Pray that the teachers at Ross Elementary School will be encouraged in their calling to teach.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)
13. Pray for the OCC Gospel Outreach to teens being held this evening at the Youth Intervention Center. 14. Pray that God will give wisdom and ability to Principal Hopkins as he leads Ross Street Elementary School. 15. Pray for the development of relationships with unchurched families in Northeast Lancaster. 16. Pray that members of First Methodist will grow in their faith in God’s mighty power. 17. Pray for God’s leading for a facility to use weekly starting in August 2016. 18. Pray that those living on Clay Street will come to have faith in the one true God.
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
19. Pray for a God honoring OCC worship service and that many will attend. 20. Pray that God will begin to prepare faithful men to lead as elders of OCC. 21. Pray for wisdom and grace for the parents of students at Ross Elementary School and for the energy to support their student and the school. 22. Pray that members of Trinity Lutheran will grow in their faith in God’s mighty power. 23. Pray that God will guide us into ministries to the truly needy (widows, orphans, homeless, addicts) so that Christ will be exalted among the most marginalized. 24. Pray for those living on New Street will come to have faith in the one true God.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have

Pray that the core team of OCC will be encouraged in their faith as they serve in OCC. Pray for students at Ross Elementary School who are struggling with learning. Pray that members of St James Church will grow in their faith in God’s mighty power. Pray for the development of relationships with other church leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 29. Pray that God will provide the financial resources needed to grow OCC into the future. 30. Pray that those living on Plum Street will come to have faith in the one true God. 31.
