30 Days of Prayer for One City Church (OCC)

In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. (Psalm 5:3) 1. Pray for God’s Spirit to be powerfully moving in the lives of people who live on Grove Lane. 2. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for Ross Street United Methodist Church. 3. Pray for the financial resources necessary to become self-sustaining by the 3rd year (2019) 4. Pray for the Lord’s blessing on the relationship that has begun with the Athletic Director at McCaskey High School. 5. Pray for the development of relationships with other community leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 6. Pray for guidance, patience and understanding for the coaches at McCaskey High School.
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11) 7. Pray for Gospel centered lives among the core team of OCC. 8. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for The Gathering. 9. Pray for the development of relationships with other church leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 10. Pray for the development of an equipping model that can grow people from converts to disciple-making disciples. 11. Pray for positive attitudes, submission to authority, and a safe season for athletes at McCaskey High School. 12. Pray for God’s Spirit to be powerfully moving in the lives of people who live on Rock Street.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6) 13. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for Ebenezer Baptist Church. 14. Pray for the development of relationships with unchurched families in Northeast Lancaster. 15. Pray for God’s leading for a facility to use weekly starting in the summer of 2016. 16. Pray for patience, strength, and ability for the teachers at McCaskey High School. 17. Pray for the core team of OCC to grow in finding our satisfaction in Christ.
18. Pray for our December outreach at The Mix at Arbor Place this evening. OCC volunteers will be serving in a variety of ways (serving food, singing, leading games, pictures, living nativity, etc.)
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4) 19. Pray for the development of relationships with other non-church ministries serving in Northeast Lancaster. 20. Pray for the core team of OCC to grow in our devotion to the scriptures as our sole authority. 21. Pray for wisdom and leadership ability for the administrators at McCaskey High School. 22. Pray for God’s Spirit to be powerfully moving in the lives of people who live on N Ann Street. 23. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for Harvest Chapel. 24. Pray for the development of relationships with the school officials in Northeast Lancaster.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him. (1 John 5:14-15) 25. Pray for unexpected blessings for those less fortunate in Northeast Lancaster on Christmas Day. 26. Pray for positive attitudes, understanding and unity among the students at McCaskey High School. 27. Pray that God will help the core team of OCC to worship God in every area of our lives. 28. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for New City Church and In the Light Ministries. 29. Pray for the development of relationships with business leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 30. Pray that the Lord will open doors of opportunity for immigrant children at McCaskey High School. 31. Pray for safety on New Year’s Eve in Northeast Lancaster. Thank you for praying for
