In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. (Psalm 5:3) 1. Pray that the core team of OCC will live out the truth that the gospel is of primary importance. 2. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for Ross Street United Methodist Church. 3. Pray for the financial resources necessary to become self-sustaining by the 3rd year (2019). 4. Pray for God’s Spirit to be powerfully moving in the lives of people who live on Reservoir Street. 5. Pray for the development of relationships with other community leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 6. Pray that God will enable Alec & Tammy Millen (and their kids – Chelsea, Amber, Benjamin and Savannah) to provide strong leadership to OCC.
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! (Matthew 7:11) 7. Pray for the development of relationships with business leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 8. Pray for God’s Spirit to be powerfully moving in the lives of people who live on Burrowes Avenue. 9. Pray that the core team of OCC will live out the truth that Jesus is our savior and satisfaction. 10. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for The Gathering. 11. Pray for the development of relationships with other church leaders in Northeast Lancaster. 12. Pray for the development of an equipping model that can grow people from converts to disciple-making disciples.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6) 13. Pray that the core team of OCC will live out the truth that the Bible is sufficient to guide and grow us. 14. Pray for the OCC Gospel Outreach to teens being held tonight at the Youth Intervention Center.
15. Pray for the development of relationships with unchurched families in Northeast Lancaster. 16. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for Vineyard Heritage Center. 17. Pray for God’s leading for a facility to use weekly starting in the summer of 2016. 18. Pray for God’s Spirit to be powerfully moving in the lives of people who live on Reynolds Avenue.
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:1-4) 19. Pray that the core team of OCC will live out the truth that true worship is pursuing God centered joy in all of life. 20. Pray for a God honoring OCC worship service and that many will attend. 21. Pray for the development of relationships with other non-church ministries serving in Northeast Lancaster. 22. Pray for God’s blessing and faithfulness to the Gospel for New City Church. 23. Pray for positive attitudes, understanding and unity among the students and staff at Buehrle Alternative School. 24. Pray for God’s Spirit to be powerfully moving in the lives of people who live on Hamilton Street.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us--whatever we ask--we know that we have 25.
