Having it all is not about striving for perfection, or about living our lives according to someone else’s standards or expectations (we’ve done that for far too long). It’s not about working ourselves to a state of exhaustion, spreading ourselves too thin, or trading inner peace and contentment for outer trinkets of success. Been there. Done that too. Having it all simply means having access to all of yourself, in any moment you choose it, and in every aspect of life that is important to you.

C:
I would like to ask you how do you define having your all in your life?
Joe
Nunziata: I think we all have a different idea of what that looks like. One of the problems we have speaking to people is they don’t have any idea. When I talk to people about well what do you want your life to look like a lot of people are so caught up in trying to get through the day and get through the week and get through the month and pay the bills that the idea of sitting back and saying what is it that I want my life to look like. I always tell people what you want your day to look like. Write it down. It’s funny I always did that; I thought I’d like to work from home and have a flexible schedule these are the desires I had. I wanted to work and certainly do what I wanted and be able to coach people and speak and write I have this whole idea of what I wanted my day to look like and then of course my life to look like. Then it started to manifest but it was very clear where somebody else would say no I want an office and have employees and have a conference room, they are all good that you have to have an idea of what you want it to look like. Also is it the life that you want or is it something you think you are supposed to have, people say to me: don’t you want to have a building and I say no it’s not my thing but if you do that’s fine. But I think people get caught up on what it’s supposed to look like as opposed to what you want it to look like, it doesn’t really matter. We have a societal concept versus what we really want. I am a more simple person and other people are more extravagant and want to have buildings and have real estate and a driver, I understand a car, that is fine but that’s not my version. Everybody’s version, it should be your version know what you think the version should be.

C:
What’s the core belief that you hold to be true either about yourself or the universe for you to really experience your life where you are really having it all?
Joe
Nunziata: when I teach a lot of my work I always talk to people about really seeing yourself as the creator. So everything that is happening in your life you are at the point of creation. I always say to people you have to see yourself as the point of creation because if you don’t things are happening to you when you don’t understand that you are creating. So even if something happened as you perceive is negative because everything is perception but you have to understand I created something negative for a purpose there is a reason you would create a negative situation as you want to learn something that there is something your souls trying to teach you. When you see yourself always from a point of creation what it does is it makes you very powerful and the second thing that happens which is more important is it takes you out of the role of being a victim. If I am always saying I am at the point of creation all day than that means everything that is happening I’m creating for some reason. I always looked at it for two weeks either I’m bringing something in to help me expand myself to move forward faster or I am bringing things in to help me deal with some emotional issues that I’ve not addressed, so even though I’m might see it as negative, or something that is helping me deal with an issue that I need to clear so I can really do my work at a higher level. If you saw yourself that way all the time all day your whole day is completely different because you are seeing yourself from a position of creation not to say oh what’s happening to me today or why are these things happening. Also you are here to experience both sides so the idea that something difficult and challenging or like I said as you would perceive that’s negative you need the third dimensional world that we live in is a world of polarity. So without hate fear anger I don’t know joy and love and peace. I don’t know those without the other side of it so when you are experiencing something challenging also for your own growth you actually need that experience so you have something to compare it to. If you are always in a state of love peace and joy you would not know that because you wouldn’t know the other side. The principle that changed my life the most is you have to be in acceptance all the time. And if you live in acceptance all the time everything is okay. It doesn’t mean it diminishes what you are going through what it’s not difficult or challenging but it creates a different framing for you and helps you get through those experiences a lot easier and faster and also with a lot more grace where you can understand what’s going on and then derive that lesson and move forward. That was a big turning point for me a big change. Copyright © 2015, Christy Whitman International. All rights reserved. | www.ChristyWhitman.com | www.TheArtofHavingItAll.com

C:
So when you’re in that state, in that present moment and you really feel like you do have it all, can you just describe what it is of that essence of how you feel?
Joe
Nunziata: always focus on my desire which is to feel peaceful. I grew up in an environment which is not peaceful. In every day to feel peaceful everything is good and I feel calm and everything it does it mean anything happen that was spectacular whatever happened that day that is just the idea of being in a state of peace is really my goal and it’s the gold that I have when I work with people. If you are in a state of peace that means everything is good. It doesn’t mean I need more or less oh whatever it just is about feeling peaceful and calm feeling at one with myself and the universe and being in that peaceful state is really what I’m going for every day. Some days I do it very well and others I don’t. But most is now because that is my desire in place but it want to live in and remove ego and remove everything out of it it’s easy to get caught up in yourself and you write books and get on TV you do this and that but the bottom line is that’s just nice stuff but it doesn’t mean anything if it doesn’t allow me to be peaceful. So everything in my life is directed toward being peaceful prosperous and feeling feelings of love and joy. At the core that I always think of peace. If I feel peaceful everything is good but have to feel peaceful. There are people you and I both know that have everything supposedly on paper money this and that and I’m from New York which so I know a lot of Wall Street guys in this that but they are not peaceful. So that’s really kind of the interesting part of life and we say once I have the thing I’m missing whether it’s the relationship weight loss the money the job the career then I will be good but you won’t because you still won’t be peaceful. That’s what I think people miss the boat a little bit.
C:
What is one tip so others can feel that essence in their lives?
Joe
Nunziata: we all grew up with external in. So it was based on when a focus on the external that’s what you need to be happy so now people who are more spiritual and my son is now 20 years old but he has been running this and he was very small so he understands it’s inside out. But I have to say it’s nobody’s fault we all learned that way. Unless Copyright © 2015, Christy Whitman International. All rights reserved. | www.ChristyWhitman.com | www.TheArtofHavingItAll.com

you grew up in a really spiritual-based house I don’t mean religion and need spiritually based that’s a whole other conversation but if you grow up and that kind of house hold most of people in our generation did not we learned external out in. This is way so many people are upset and disenfranchised because they have gone down that road. It’s a failing either you have the feeling or you don’t you can go buy it at the store. That’s a thing that people have to understand you are going for the feeling and when you understand that then the miracles really happen. More and more people’s lives are going off from more and more people and I think as more and more people struggle they realize that is not that is important and people down size. I am downsizing by choice because I don’t want to have a lot of stuff it’s not working for me right now. So it something that as you do this work that is it thing that you desire. Two things I desire is I desire quiet more and I desire less clutter. Those are two things I’m noticing within myself but I just don’t want it so I am wanting quiet and wanting less stuff and clutter, and what’s important to me is what’s internal more so than anything else. *I always start every morning with the meditation. And one of the things I think that helps us to become peaceful and it will sound very simple but most people start the day and what I consider to be a frantic state. They get up with the lime clock or whatever and kids in whatever and run right into their brains and run around. See you have to understand your day started off not being peace. And it’s important that you anchor your day so my thing is to get up in the morning early which I do and even if it’s a couple of minutes to just sit quietly even if you’re not a meditator just sit there and breathe and anchor your day and again with the understanding and the present to say that I am going to create a peaceful day. Again we are back to creation where your focus is creating a peaceful day. That alone is gigantic for so many people who get up in the morning like I said and are off to the races all the sudden it’s 5 6 or 7 o’clock and they say while I am wiped I don’t know what happened today there was no creation nothing and all they did was run themselves ragged. So the idea that I started my day and then ended my day before go to bed, I go to bed and do the same thing. I ground myself I am sending an intention to the universe to say okay want to go to bed and peace and now create another positive so now you start to bookend your day with the peaceful energy and also you are sending that energy out there. This is what I want this is my intention this is my expectation. I think most people get up and book through the day and hope that they just get back to the bed. The idea is to set an intention for a peaceful day that’s my goal my intention and I’m going to do it. As you start doing it more and more and then that will start to become your natural state. I will tell you that was not my natural state so for me when I first started to get more peaceful it freaked me out. I didn’t know what to do with it because I was always in that frantic state the one thing I

prepare people for is it won’t feel comfortable because you are not used to being peaceful until becomes your normal state. Once that happens then you’ll never want to give it out but it takes time to get there. I feel like if we start and end the day well it will help us really a lot faster.
