Overview: VICE is the world’s preeminent youth media company and content creation studio. The Role: The Payroll Manager will be responsible for four payrolls across the VICE group. You will be responsible for the full payroll process working closely with the HR and Finance teams. This role will be the key contact for all payroll and benefit related matters and as such we are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager who can work autonomously and seamlessly manage the payroll processes within VICE UK. Responsibilities:                 

Manage all data input into HR and Payroll systems. Manage the monthly payroll process from end to end foreseeing any difficulties and rectifying with ease. Ensure all payroll information is processed in a timely and efficient manner. Act as the key point of contact for payroll queries both internally and externally. Key liaison with third party providers. (ADP / WORKDAY). Provide payroll reconciliations on a monthly basis. Ensure all annual/monthly returns are made to HMRC e.g. P60s, P45 etc. Processing benefits' producing P11d reports where required. Produce monthly payroll reports, working with EMEA and US teams to ensure consistency of reporting. Report on monthly headcount figures for HR and Finance purposes. Dealing with queries/liaising with HMRC. Understand SMP, SSP, TAX, NI. Manage the monthly pension contributions. Manage the monthly child care contributions. Manage all new season ticket and cycle scheme loan requests. Assisting with all Gender Pay Gap reporting. Developing payroll policies and best practice internal control procedures.

Required Skills:   

Experience working within Payroll. Advanced MS Excel skills. Experience of implementing a payroll/HR system is advantageous.

Experience working with ADP, Workday and/or other payroll and HR systems. Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality. Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work quickly and effectively, often managing several projects under deadline. Passionate about working for VICE.
