While on furlough, we lost a family from our congregation to another church. And just two weeks ago we lost brother Paulo and his family. But, this second loss was to ministry, for which we are thankful. Although he is still taking his Bible College classes, Paulo was invited to pastor a small congregation interior about a three hour drive from us. They have left a huge hole and we miss them. Please pray that God would save more souls and fill in the gaps. We celebrated 21 years of marriage on December 17. Hope you do not mind that we went out to a nice restaurant for lunch to celebrate. Three pictures above are of the two camp cabins. My brother Jeff and our missionary colleague, Jared Malcolm, have been working hard to get the camp to a point where we can begin to have events there on a more regular basis. Now the cabins only need the finish work. They will lodge close to 100 campers! Our efforts to win the lost to Christ continue. Although we witness and visit throughout the week, we recently were able to have two unsaved families over for a meal. First, we had Altemar and his family, (pictured above). What a great opportunity we had to share Christ with them in our living room after the meal. Then we had Tony and his family (sorry, forgot to take a picture of them) and God opened the door to share the Gospel with them as well. Our goal is to have one unsaved family over each month. We also have folk from our congregation over for meals. Dr. Ernest, his wife Paula & daughter Sarana were our guests for our Christmas program at church (on right in next column). The family is well with Mom home-schooling the girls. J.D. is taking his online college courses and Jake helps Dad with some projects. Jon was elected mission treasurer for our region in January; making this at least his 7 th year in the position. A little more responsibility on the platter! Thank you all for ALL you do for us!
