It has been busy down here. What we want to report to you in this e-mail has to do with our congregation's 6th year anniversary. It took place on September 15 and it was amazing! Over 120 people were present. We asked our people to work really hard to invite unsaved friends and family. We had 61 visitors, not counting those that came from our mother church! 18 of these visitors were first time visitors. 40 of them were unsaved (although we do not know everyone's heart, we are basing this estimate on what we know about these people and the fruit they bare). We are certain there were first time visitors from our mother church, but we believe that most all of those are professing believers. My brother Jeff brought a wonderful Gospel message. Although we had no one saved that night, we know that the seed was faithfully sown!

We had folks standing since we did not have enough chairs. That is Jon's brother Jeff on the far left.
We were so grateful for how God sent out folks to the service!

Jon leading the singing. Well, of course we had finger foods and cake too. We made sure all our visitors got served first, but some of our folks did not get any. Oh well, it was indeed a wonderful evening of celebrating God's blessings upon our congregation! In another e-mail we will talk about the work day we had to paint the church. Did some of you notice the new paint job? One final thing, please pray for Juleah. Tonight is the opening of her art exposition at a local café just one street over from our church. It will be there for 2 weeks and she hopes to help sell all of her paintings to help pay for her college or to buy a car when she gets back to the U.S. in May. We will have to send you pictures of that when we get them taken tonight. She has invited many people, including some of the friends that were with us in the pictures above, and many others.
