JYSA Board Meeting Minutes Sunday, February 19, 2017 6:00 PM I.
Present – Baker, Frucci, Wolfe, Frucci, Page, Calvert, Bostick, Roberts, Post

Call to order 6:00 pm

Special Speakers: a. MSOA Umpire – potentially partnering with their organization

Board a. Adding responsibilities to Jared’s Director of Officials position b. MOTION - Troy moves to replace Director of Officials to Director of Field Operations with Jaren Page still holding position, amending the bylaws to reflect. Anthony seconds. Motion carries unanimously. c. Assistant to the Director of Field Operations – Derek Bohannon d. Parliamentarian – Jason Blakeman e. Open treasurer or secretary position

Basketball – Ken Calvert a. Regular season ended 2/18/17 b. Coaches game Thursday, March 2nd, 7pm City Hall Gym i.
Play game, Ceremony – certificates, league picture
c. Looking forward to next season – discount rate at school for practice, coaches clinic d. Equipment – purchasing more balls per team e. Fundraiser event vs. raffle ideas f. VI.

Parent Meetings: Four helpful list a. WELL: the meeting, schedule, vision for league, practice schedules, coaches meeting prior, pre work, time management, Dennis b. NOTE WELL: same brand fitting, dressing issues and sizing, security of property, control, lack of participation, listening, pre-communication, coaches responsible, didn’t have the raffle tickets c. UNCLEAR: style options, coach color choice, greeter, pay for what they want d. ADD: a/c, square, better ordering options, clear instruction on what is included, maybe separate rooms, check out, dressing rooms, holding area

Field update – turf in baseball batting cage, batting mats, desires for fields e. Concessions – order cups and sell $5 f.
