Central Missouri Mid-America Invitational TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES ELIGIBILITY: 2016 Tournament entry is open to women’s teams only – team field size will be determined by team multiples of two, with secondary priority given to multiples of four teams. Individual player entries may be submitted in any combination. This tournament uses a scratch scoring system. The tournament will consist of two separate components, with each team being required to compete in all days of the event. All sessions (Day One, Day Two) will be played at the same facility (KC Bowl, Kansas City, KS). An Open Individual Player division may also be held as part of the event during the pool play rounds, with competition occurring at the same time in a different portion of the facility (see Individual Event Guidelines for details). NOTE: THE INDIVIDUAL PLAYER DIVISION WILL NOT BE HOSTED FOR THE 2016 EVENT. FORMAT: Competition will consist of a designated number of matches each day (final determination based upon field size). If a tie exists, the place finish tie will be broken by NCAA playing rules. Round Robin = Total Pinfall pool play matches. Match schedule and number of matches will be determined by field size, with first consideration based upon cross-region matches. If field size is more than 12 teams, two to four pools will be used to determine match rotation schedule. Baker Bracket = Will consist of an 8 Team, Double Elimination Bracket. Rounds 1 and 2 will be played as Baker Total Pinfall matches (5 games), with rounds 3 through 7 played as Baker Match Play rounds (Best 4 of 7) and Round 7 played only if necessary. Seeding for the Bracket will be determined by regular season seeding criteria and will be announced before Round Robin play begins. EVENT RULES: The current season’s NCAA playing rules (2015-16 edition) will be used for this competition. Tied matches will be broken immediately upon completion of the match; ties will be broken using the NCAA modified baker format. SCHEDULE: Friday, 0DUFK 2, 2016
