Central Missouri Mid-America Invitational EVENT GUIDELINES ELIGIBILITY: 2018 event entry is open to women’s teams only – team field size will be determined by team multiples of two, with secondary priority given to multiples of four teams. Individual player entries may be submitted in any combination. The competition will use a scratch scoring system. The event will consist of two separate components, with each team being required to compete in two days of the competition. All sessions (Day One, Day Two) will be played at the same facility (Fulton Bowling Center). Teams interested in playing pre-seeding matches on February 23rd should express their interest prior to February 1 st, 2018. An Open Individual Player division will also be held as part of the event during the pool play rounds, with competition occurring at the same time in a different portion of the facility (see Individual Event Guidelines for details). FORMAT: Competition will consist of a designated number of matches each day (final determination based upon field size). If a tie exists, the place finish tie will be broken by NCAA playing rules. NOTE: As an MIAA Conference recognized event, every opportunity will be made for MIAA conference schools to compete against each other an equal number of times by the end of the two day event. Total pinfall format matches will be used each day. Match schedule, teams and final number of matches each day will be determined by field size. Day One = five, 5-game Baker Format matches. Results from day one will be determined by total pinfall Day Two = five team game matches. Results from day two will be determined by total pinfall.
EVENT RULES: The current season’s NCAA playing rules (2017-18 edition) will be used for this competition. Tied matches will be broken immediately upon completion of the match; ties will be broken using the NCAA modified baker format.

Central Missouri Mid-America Invitational EVENT GUIDELINES – page 2 AWARDS: Recognition awards will be given to the high pinfall team and certificates to the high individual players each day. Commemorative Individual recognition awards (6) will be given on Saturday and will consist of five Individual awards and one Most Valuable Player. MVP and the Individual awards will be based on performance from regular games and will be selected by the coaches. Players must start at least five matches on Saturday to be eligible. Coaches will be provided with stats packet for voting vote will take place during the last match on Saturday so entire performance of the day can be considered. DRESS CODE: Team must adhere to the dress code as described in the 2017-18 NCAA Women’s Bowling Playing Rules Book. LODGING and TRANSPORTATION: Multiple hotels are located in the area of the Legends Shopping Center called Village West near Kansas Raceway, which is approximately 3 miles from the facility. Local listings include (but not limited to) Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn &Suites, Holiday Inn Express, etc. Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is within approximately 35-40 minutes of the Bowling Center.

INDIVIDUAL ENTRY / OPEN DIVISION GUIDELINES FORMAT: This event will use a scratch scoring system. Athletes from individual division may not change divisions during days of play or move to the NCAA Team division. A maximum of two players may be listed on one spot and complete one paid entry. The total number of games played will not exceed maximum time allotted for daily competition (10 games maximum). Day One – Individual Games = Individual player and open division rounds will consist of 5 total-pinfall games. Day Two – Individual Games = Individual players and the open division will compete in 5 total pinfall games. EVENT RULES: Dress Code: Non-NCAA entries will follow collegiate national governing body apparel rules. NCAA athletes will follow NCAA apparel rules.
