Mapping Out Your Contacts | A Worksheet

Booking

2 3

STEP ONE: LIST OUT YOUR SOCIAL CIRCLES Think of all of your different social circles and start to list names that fall into each of them. It doesn’t matter if they would host a party, buy product or have interest in starting a business. You are just making a list at this point. Aim for a list of 5-10 names in each category. STEP TWO: WHAT ARE THEY INTERESTED IN Remember every person fits into 1 of 4 categories: Customer, hostess, brand rep or connector to one of those three. Put a check mark next to the names that fall into one of these categories. If they fall into more one, add another check! These are your highest potentials! STEP 3: DECIDE ON A STARTING POINT Depending on your comfort level for having those first few conversations, you can either:

FEWEST CHECKS

Everything you need to get started. 2 hours a week to book 2 parties.

MOST CHECKS

1. Start with the names that have THE FEWEST checks - these are great to get you warmed up. If you mess them up, no biggie! If you make them work - hooray!

2. Start with the names that have THE MOST checks - these might be the people you are most comfortable with and/or speak to most often, so you might not even get nervous pitching them.

OTHER CATEGORY IDEAS:

“Get out there! - when you are getting your nails done chat with the woman next to you!”
