Lexia Reports Overview Lexia’s embedded assessment system, Assessment Without Testing®, provides educators with actionable, norm-referenced performance data without interrupting the flow of instruction to administer a test. Lexia Reading Core5® offers educators the data they need to drive instructional decisions. Administrators and educators can access data reports on a browser, iPad® app, or iPhone® app and data are available at a student, class, grade, school, and district level. This brochure focuses on the key reports that administrators and teachers should monitor most often, but Lexia Reading Core5 offers many other detailed reports that are available when needed via the myLexia® iPad app and www.mylexia.com.

Key Reports for Administrators There are three key reports to help administrators monitor the fidelity of implementation and that require as little as five minutes per week:

➁ Staff Usage - administrators can monitor staff use of the Lexia Reading Core5 reports and Lexia Lessons® to see how often teachers log in to review student data.

➂ Grade Report - monitor progress throughout the year in terms of Grade Level of Material and overall risk level. This report is particularly helpful when looking at a whole grade level across a school or across the district. It helps answer questions such as: • H ave we increased the number of students who are "On Target" for success? • What percent of 3rd graders, for example, in the district/ school are working on or above grade level material? • What percent of 3rd graders, for example, in the district/ school are using Lexia at the recommended level of intensity?

Key Reports for Teachers at the Student Level

Action Plan Achievement Available Level 1 completed on Jan 07 Increase Usage

➀ Student Combined Report - provides a historical view of the student’s progress in the program, including the grade level of material they are currently working on, their current and previous Performance Predictors (risk levels), their status of meeting/not meeting usage over time and their current average usage. It also enables teachers to monitor progress on the Common Core State Standards and is a powerful tool for both data meetings and parent conferences.

➁ Student Skills Report - this report is a summary of students' progress across their use of Lexia and their performance on specific skills from each level of the program. It includes a Parent Report, in both English and Spanish, to be used for parent conferences.

➂ Student Progress Report - student progress data is represented in simple-to-interpret line graphs making this a powerful report to use with parents who have limited English or limited reading proficiency.

48 min/wk

Actual 32, Target 80 min/week

The action plan is found on the Student Combined Report and provides the teacher with a to-do list that specifies achievement certificates, intensity of use, and instructional and independent practice materials for each student.
